Effective 1 July 2021

1. Fee Free EFTPOS is in conjunction with Live eftpos green Terms and Conditions (available at https://www.liveeftpos.com.au/LEMerchantTnC.pdf). In the event of any inconsistency or conflict, Live eftpos green Terms and Conditions will apply.

2. The “surcharge” refers to the additional amount added to the total transaction amount for all transactions processed under the Fee Free EFTPOS plan. The surcharge is equal to the merchant service fees we charge your business. We process and collect the surcharged amount and credit it against the merchant fees we charge to your business.

3. We encourage all businesses to clearly display signage that advises customers that a surcharge is applied to card payments. Surcharge signage is provided with your Live eftpos device at time of sign-up and clearly identifies the surcharge percentage (up to 1.65%).

4. Customer receipts must be the receipts printed from your Live eftpos device that clearly identify the total transaction and surcharge amount.

5. Live eftpos mobile devices can be used to automatically surcharge customers.

• Live eftpos mobile devices supplied to your business at sign-up, will be set up to automatically add the quoted surcharge amount to the transaction amount charged to your customer (e.g. 1.65%).

6. Live eftpos integrated devices can be used to automatically surcharge customers.

• Live eftpos integrated devices supplied to your business from installation, will be set up to automatically add the quoted surcharge amount to the transaction amount charged to your customer (e.g. 1.65%).

7. eCommerce with Live eftpos can be used to automatically surcharge customers.

• For Fee Free Customers using eCommerce with Live eftpos, a surcharge rate of 1.95% will apply to all transactions. This fee will be automatically surcharged to your customers.

8. Device rental is applicable for any business transacting less than $5,000 per month per terminal. For example, if a business has 2x Live eftpos terminals with Fee Free EFTPOS, and terminal 1 transacts $8,500 in the month, and terminal 2 transacts $2,500 in the month, only terminal 1 will have its device rental waived. Where monthly transactions on a terminal are less than $5,000, device rental will be applicable and will be charged at $29.00 per device and $34.00 per integrated device.

9. Integrated device installation fees may apply.

• The integrated device installation cost will be waived for the first device installed.
• Additional integrated devices to be installed will incur a $70.00 installation fee per device.

10. Non-standard transaction and Recovery fees may apply.

• Non-standard transaction fees may apply to refunds and chargebacks.
• Recovery fees may apply when a device is lost, stolen or damaged.
