Advieh
Advieh is a restaurant based in Seddon, Melbourne. They have a second café located down the road in Yarraville.
The business has now been operating for a decade, offering a Middle Eastern inspired menu with an emphasis on vegan and vegetarian meals.
From the Middle East to Melbourne
Advieh joined Live eftpos in April 2018. At the time word was spreading about their two venues that both offered a unique vibe including a mix of colourful food displays and rustic decor. With business booming, Director Gene Kapaufs saw an opportunity to be rewarded for the increasing number of transactions Advieh was processing.
“I came across Live eftpos online and after a bit of research I made an enquiry through Facebook. I decided to jump when I discovered they offered the opportunity to earn Qantas Points on every transaction we made through their device. We were processing transactions on a day to day basis, so it made total sense to switch.”
A central point of contact
Gene is quick to highlight that having a dedicated relationship manager has made his relationship with Live eftpos a lot more straightforward.
“All of our dealings with James, our relationship manager, have been great. It’s been a huge benefit to our business having the single point of contact since our very first day with Live eftpos. James has a very good understanding of our business and goals.”
Growth plans for 2020 and beyond
With two venues already up and running, Advieh have their sights set on a third store at Altona Beach in Melbourne’s west.
“The Qantas Points we’ve earned from Live eftpos have definitely helped us grow the business. The earned points have provided us with travel flexibility and the opportunity for more in-depth trips for business purposes. We usually travel to gain a broader understanding of the hospitality industry nationally.
We’re currently working on a third venue – which we’ll definitely be using Live eftpos black as well!”
