Bluebonnet BBQ
Bluebonnet BBQ is a Texan-inspired smokehouse in Brunswick, Melbourne.
The restaurant specialises in ‘low and slow’ barbequed meats and boasts a range of innovative meat-smoking techniques.
From Brunswick to Texas
Bluebonnet BBQ joined Live eftpos in August 2018 around the same time they moved into their first permanent home on Brunswick’s leafy Lygon Street.
With Head Chef and owners Chris Terlikar travelling to the United States two or three times a year, the decision to sign up for a Live eftpos black device was a straightforward decision.
“The main reason we signed up with Live eftpos is because we do a lot of travelling in the business, we fly to the US maybe two or three times per year and we can take advantage of using the Qantas Points.”
Moving forward in 2019
Bluebonnet BBQ made its name in Melbourne through a series of pop-up restaurants and smaller spaces. However last year they moved into a permanent residence that can accommodate up to 170 guests. Their new home has seen them enhance their menu whilst helping them achieve the perfection and consistency that their craft requires.”
“Our plans for 2019 are to keep expanding, keep growing and keep doing what we’re doing!”
